Recognizing the contributions of trade and industry in British Columbia, the building owner wanted to pay tribute to the hardworking men and women who are the driving force of our economy. The mural celebrates achievements across our province and the workers who made them possible.

1201 West Georgia St. Vancouver, B.C.
2015
The owner of the building commissioned me to paint a mural of “the Berge Atlas”, a canvas I painted in 2013. This mural is approximately 35ft wide and 30ft high on the north west side of the Banff Apartments (1909) at the corner of West Georgia & Bute, Vancouver, B.C. This building was originally the "Florence Court" residential hotel. It now houses rental apartments and is the last remaining example of the New York-style posh residential hotels and apartments that once lined West Georgia Street between Thurlow Street and Stanley Park.
